Valuation Manager - Commercial

Poasa's experience has been gained throughout all facets of property valuation, including commercial, industrial and retail valuation work, rental review, construction progress reports and insurance replacement valuations.

Valuation work has been undertaken for private clients, major lending institutions and national corporate organizations, valuation of major corporation property portfolios and numerous national and international valuation and consultancy assignments. Others included research and preparation of valuation with particular emphasis on multi-unit residential, mixed use developments, feasibility analysis using the Estate Master Property Development Software, Discounted Cashflow Analysis and large scale industrial properties.

Poasa has acted for a wide range of clients including Corporates, Major Financial Institutions (Panel Valuer to all major banks in Australia for commercial properties), Private Investors, Local, State and Federal Government.

In the past eight years Poasa has been undertaking property valuations of approximately over 800 properties in a number of Aboriginal Communities within the East Arnhem Shires on behalf of The Office of Township Leasing following registration of new Township Leases. These works include rental and market valuations in Bathurst Island, Milikapiti and Wuranku, Tiwi Islands and in three communities in Groote Eylandt namely Angurugu, Umbakamba and Bickerton Island also within the East Arnhem Shire.

Other works also include mortgage valuation for Indigenous Business Australia within Bathurst Island, Melville Island and Groote Eylandt. Poasa has also undertaken property valuations for the Northern Land Council (NLC). Recently in June 2016 Poasa has undertaken valuation work in all communities within the East Arnhem Regional Council.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Poasa had been employed by Raine & Horne Darwin as a full time Valuer for approximately 4 years.
From 1986-1998 Poasa was employed on a full time basis as an Estate Officer/Valuer for 2 semi Government Bodies and a Senior Valuer for a Property Consultancy Company in Fiji.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Since moving to Darwin Poasa has been involved in a number of organizations and groups including the Uniting Church, Fiji Association NT (Inc.) and a few sporting body in particular the University Pirates Rugby Union Club.
